What documents you need for international transport

The basic set
As a rule you need: a commercial invoice (the bill for the cargo), a packing list and a CMR consignment note. These three documents accompany most road shipments and confirm what is being carried and in what quantity.
What is added for customs
When crossing the customs border, export/import declarations are added; for transit — a T1 document; certificates of origin, permits and, for certain categories, special documents (for example, for ADR goods) may be required.
How to avoid mistakes
